Granola's taste should come from a perfect balance of high-quality grains, flavorful dried fruits and nuts, pure honey, and delicious spices, not from tons of processed sugars. That simple idea led Janice Freed to start baking Zaydie's Granola in her kitchen in Richmond, Virginia in 2006.

While Janice first made Zaydie's to sprinkle atop a bowl of

yogurt and fresh fruit in the morning, she soon decided

it was too good to keep to herself. Zaydie's quickly

became a hit with anyone who tasted it, and when

the requests for more grew too frequent to handle

alone, Janice enlisted her daughter, Shelley, to

help spread Zaydie's far and wide.

Now, their family-run business churns out Zaydie's

in two outstanding flavors: Walnut Cranberry and

Almond Blueberry, which are both available at fine

grocery stores and farmers markets throughout Virginia.

Try Zaydie's, and you too will say: Naturally delicious. Not too sweet.
